武井宏之「機巧童子ULTIMO」がジャンプスクエアから増刊のジャンプSQ.19（ともに集英社）に移籍。本日2月18日に発売されたジャンプSQ.19 Winterにて連載がスタートした。

「機巧童子ULTIMO」は、「善」の心を持つウルティモと「悪」の心を持つバイス、2体を中心とする機巧童子の戦いを描いたロボットバトルマンガ。最新8巻は3月2日に発売される。

また今号には、古屋兎丸「帝一の國」の番外編「帝一のピアノ」を収録。幼き帝一がいかにして「己の国」を作るという夢に向かっていくのかが描かれた。さらに助野嘉昭「貧乏神が！」の番外編もセンターカラーで掲載されているほか、TVアニメ化を記念してキャラクター総選挙を開催している。新連載では、まんがタイムスペシャル（芳文社）にて「シュガービーチ」を連載中の下村トモヒロが「コミカル！」をスタートさせた。

なお季刊誌として刊行されてきたジャンプSQ.19は、隔月刊化されることが決定。今後は偶数月の19日に発売される。次号ジャンプSQ.19 Vol.1は4月19日に発売。さらなる隔月刊化記念企画は。今後のジャンプスクエア本誌にて告知されていく。
