集英社ジャンプ系列誌の情報番組「サキよみ ジャンBANG!」内の人気コーナー「VOMIC」の3月期には、遠藤達哉「月華美刃」が登場する。


「VOMIC」は、静止画とキャラクターボイスを用いてテレビ画面でマンガ誌面を再現する新感覚コミック。主人公の竹之内カグヤ役を坂本真綾が、カグヤの母・竹之内フジヤ役を田中敦子が、カグヤの世話役・讃岐シシマロ役を楠見が演じる。


またカグヤとフジヤの暗殺を企てる梅之内フユヒト役を小形満が、梅之内家当主・カマドヤ役を安田奈緒子が、フユヒトらの娘・梅之内イズミヤ役をたなか久美が担当。


「月華美刃」は竹取物語をモチーフにした物語で、謀反により月から地球へと逃亡する皇女・竹之内カグヤを主人公とした和風ファンタジー。ジャンプスクエア（集英社）にて連載中だ。
