今曲は「うさぎドロップ」のための書きお ろし新曲で、8月20日より全国公開される、松山ケンイチ主演、香里奈、芦田愛菜共演の実写映画『うさぎドロップ』にも同じ主題歌が使用される。同時期に 公開される実写映画とTVアニメで同じ主題歌を使用するのは、TVアニメ初の試みなのだ。
また、PUFFYとしてはアニメ『働きマン』『源氏物語 千年紀Genji』以来、2年半ぶり3回目の"ノイタミナ"主題歌となる。PUFFYは以前より累計発行82万部の人気コミック『うさぎドロップ』原作本 にコメントを寄稿するほどの大ファンであり、また、原作者の宇仁田ゆみも以前よりPUFFYのライブに足を運ぶほどの大ファンであることから、まさに相思 相愛の強力タッグが実現したとのこと！
